Hello, my name is Griffin and I am very excited to be working with the Center for Written, Oral, and Visual Communication. I am a senior at Lovett College and I am pursuing a degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Neuroscience.
Ever since I first picked up a book I’ve loved reading, and as I’ve grown older this love has blossomed into a fondness for English classes, essays, and even public speaking. As a son of two lawyers, I’ve always had a knack for getting arguments across in eloquent (at least I like to think so) yet understandable language, and I naturally levitate towards argumentative and persuasive essays and speeches. Even so, I’ll write analytical themes with the best of them and I take great joy in breaking down metaphors and symbolism in classic literature.
In my free time I like to play guitar, sing music (with the Rice a cappella group Nocturnal), watch artsy films, watch and play soccer (go FC Dallas!) and, of course, read.
