Hey Rice! I’m an aspiring pre-med and writing enthusiast. My childhood fascination with medicine actually began with a book, a home healthcare guide whose illustrations I pored over like a picture book. Since then, I’ve never managed to divorce my twin passions for medicine and literature, and it’s brought me here to the CWOVC. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help dissect and communicate your ideas more clearly and efficiently. I believe structure is just as important as substance and hope to draw more conscious attention to stylistic considerations like organization and word choice.
In my free time, I love to read and write creatively (unsurprising!), psychoanalyze horror movies, and visit art museums. Although I can draw only stick figures, I channel my appreciation for art through graphic design and design for Catalyst, Rice’s undergraduate science research journal. I’m a devout francophile but haven’t talked myself into double-majoring in French and Cognitive Sciences (yet).
