My name is Reagan, and I am thrilled to be a part of Rice’s CWOVC! Hailing from Cape Girardeau, Missouri, I am an equally enthusiastic dog-lover and coffee-lover. On campus, I work as a tour guide, serve as my residential college’s Senator, am involved with Rice’s pre-law society, Legalese. As I plan to pursue a career in law, I look forward to a future filled with lots of reading and writing! In my free time, I enjoy rollerblading, playing the ukulele, and making sushi with friends.
For me, the purpose of academic writing has always been to say something interesting—and to say it well. This principle has guided me in my own works of communication, and it will continue to guide me during my work at the CWOVC. I know that Rice students have fresh and important ideas to contribute to the world of academics; those ideas deserve to be communicated as well as possible.
